Things I did today instead of drinking

  1. Folded the laundry
  2. Made the bed
  3. Did the dishes
  4. Cleaned the living room
  5. Made bread
  6. Burned some CDs
  7. Packed
  8. Flew some, and then flew some more, and then drove some
  9. Fought with the hotel’s wireless network
  10. Got some bad news when I was expecting good news
  11. Sat in a restaurant/bar on Boylston Street and listened to bad 80’s music and waited for my food and stared at the girl in the next booth with the nose ring and the flourescent pink hair and counted how many drinks the bartender made for other people
  12. Cried a little
  13. Thought about a name for this list
